One Capable SHARK 6 Range.

The BYD SHARK 6 brings plug-in hybrid power to the double-cab segment with a choice of Premium and Performance derivatives. Both combine a turbocharged petrol engine, electric drive and all-wheel-drive capability for work, travel and everyday use.
Premium uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged system delivering 321 kW and 650 Nm, while Performance steps up to a 2.0-litre turbocharged system with 350 kW and 700 Nm.

DMO Super Hybrid AWD

Electric Response. Petrol Flexibility.

Both SHARK 6 derivatives use BYD’s DMO all-wheel-drive architecture, blending electric response with the long-distance flexibility of a petrol engine. Premium is tuned for strong all-round capability, while Performance adds greater output, faster acceleration and additional towing reserve.

More Towing Power When You Need It

The SHARK 6 Premium is rated to tow up to 2,500 kg braked, while the SHARK 6 Performance increases maximum braked towing capacity to 3,500 kg. That gives buyers a clear choice between strong everyday capability and the extra reserve needed for heavier trailers, boats, caravans or work equipment.

Technology That Works Harder

A premium, connected cabin is central to the SHARK 6 range. The Performance derivative adds model-specific upgrades including a column-mounted gear selector, Google Automotive Services and Crawl Mode, giving the flagship additional convenience and low-speed off-road control.
